To meet the budget requirements of these Raleigh homeowners, TrendMark provided cost effective solutions by leaving the existing kitchen layout unchanged and installing new custom cabinetry specifically suited to the existing space requirements and the client’s needs. Antique white cabinets with a hand rubbed glaze feature convenient updates such as pull-out pantry shelving, self-closing drawers and corner-accessible shelving. Upper cabinets with antique glass fronts and new lighting create a warm and charming ambience. The granite topped island with its contrasting black matte finish is the location for the new gas cooktop and offers plenty of room for family and friends to gather. A distinctive checkerboard pattern applied to the kitchen floor serves as an integral design element in this charming new space.

AFTER
This kitchen remodel relocated almost all of the room’s features and includes:
• Custom painted glazed raised panel cabinetry accented with columns, corbels and glass lighted cabinets at the ceiling.
• Honed marble countertops, and bronze hardware add to the elegance of the area.
• An enlarged island houses the undermounted copper sink and bronze faucet.
• Travertine backsplash with picture frame insert and wall mount pot filler complement the stainless steel range.

- BEFORE
The existing 80’s kitchen featured white melamine cabinets, green laminate countertops, white appliances, and the every famous Ivy wallpaper.
Here is what the homeowner thinks for the final project:
“We are very satisfied with our beautiful end result and have loved all of the lovely comments received from friends, family and neighbors. As a daily cook I am very happy and thankful for my new, highly efficient and beautiful kitchen. This entire project has truly enriched our lives. We will only entrust one remodel contractor with any future projects and that is Mr. Wallace Baker of TrendMark Inc. Thank you!” – Homeowner, Cary, NC
